Happy new year to everyone! My website and demo reel will be undergoing its annual update and refreshing for the new year. This should include a lot of new work from 2009 and will hopefully be complete, ready to launch, within the next month.

I’ve made some small tweaks to the blog page, as you’ve probably already noticed. The overall size has gotten wider so I can post my pictures and videos a little larger as well as some small aesthetic changes. I’ve also added a twitter update to the sidebar that links to my twitter page. Will probably continue tweaking the design in the coming days.

There will be a major site overhaul in January as well as some new content from projects I shot in 2008. Stay tuned.

Due to some server issues the blog has been extremely slow to load, making it impossible to make any updates, but it looks like that issue has been resolved and we should be able to resume normal operation.

I’ve tweaked the coding on the “demo” page of barrycheong.com that will hopefully improve stability with loading clips from the individual project section.

Also, Quicktime will only allow one clip at a time to load so please allow a clip to finish loading before attempting to load another clip - for example allowing the montage reel to finish loading before any of the individual clips will load. I’m researching to see if there’s a way to code it so it can load multiple clips at a time.

I just finished the last bit of updates of barrycheong.com and it’s been relaunched for 2008 with a new design and new content.

I’ve also moved the blog/news here to Wordpress which gives me more customization in the look and layout. I’ll be leaving the old blog up so you can still refer to older stuff.
