Spore Prep

Shot some stock tests for another short I’m prepping that I’m doing in mid-July. The film is called “Spore” by director Peter Huang. It’s in the suspense/horror genre following a guy and girl who come across an unexpected happening.

I tested the new Vision 3 7219 stock and we’ll be using an Eclair NPR S16 package from my friend Justin Lovell over at Frame Discreet.

Turn, Smile, Shift, Repeat Prep

I’m prepping a short film for Director Mike Heron called Turn, Smile, Shift, Repeat. It’s about a character who’s living a pretty mundane life working at a hardware store who discovers an unexpected truth about himself.

The budget is exceptionally small and we’ll be shooting on a DVX100 that the director owns. There is a lot of material that we have to cover on the 2 day shoot. I think the project easily needs 3 or 4 days but everyone involved seems confident that it can be done in an aggressive 2 days. I’m still very much concerned but am willing to support the cause for now. The lighting package will be relatively small shooting all in practical locations. I should be scouting shortly.
